Graduate Recruitment Survey
Between 2009 and 2015, CFE undertook the high profile, bi-annual survey of graduate recruiters on behalf of the AGR, a membership organisation which brings together employers, the education sector and suppliers to support the recruitment and development of graduate talent. The survey provided invaluable benchmarking data for members and helped AGR set the agenda for change by ensuring recruiters’ views were heard by decision-makers in government, universities and career services. CFE worked with AGR to develop the content and structure of the surveys which were administered online in the autumn and summer of each recruitment cycle. The longitudinal analysis demonstrated changes in graduate recruitment behaviour over time as well as trends by size, sector and region. The survey findings were supported by benchmarking data from an array of secondary sources, including the Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings and Labour Force Survey, and depth interviews with AGR members.
The AGR now consults with members on a range of topics through focussed research projects. The reports from the graduate recruitment surveys 2001 to 2015 are available online: https://www.agr.org.uk/surveys
