Evaluation of the effectivesness of the matrix Standard
The matrix Standard is a quality framework for assessing information, advice and guidance services. Any organisation which manages and delivers an information, advice and guidance service to support people in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals can become accredited to the matrix Standard.
Commissioned by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), our evaluation explored whether the Standard was meeting sector needs and provided key intelligence to inform decisions about the continuing role of the Standard. This was a time-critical project and was completed in just eight weeks. Our evaluation included over 400 telephone interviews and 40 depth-interviews.
