This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious social research company as a Research Manager.
We are looking for people who have a comprehensive understanding of one or more of our key business areas which are education, wellbeing (including sports participation and physical activity) and the economy. The successful candidate will take the lead in managing and delivering mixed-method social research and evaluation contracts on a day-to-day basis, so practical experience in a client-facing role and quantitative and qualitative research skills are essential. Experience in an agency setting and public sector knowledge will be a distinct advantage.
CFE Research is a highly regarded and independent, not-for-profit social research company. Founded in 1997, we provide research and evaluation services predominantly to the public sector. Our customers include government departments, public sector agencies, educational providers, and local and national voluntary and community organisations. You will be joining a research team with ambition and a commitment to high professional standards.
The CFE team are currently working from home due to the pandemic. We are looking forward to returning to our lovely office with its exposed brickwork, vaulted ceiling, and contemporary furniture and fittings, however there will be continued options for home working so do talk to us about what might suit you. You will be part of a fantastic team, with good support for staff development, 25 days paid leave per year (over and above public holidays) plus generous benefits and pension arrangements.
